The importance of asking the right questions

Albert Einstein was quoted for saying that if he had an hour to save the world, he would spend 55 minutes defining the problem and 5 minutes finding solutions. Focusing on the right question helps you solve the true core issue instead of wasting time on the wrong things.

Lately, I've discovered how valuable that approach is.

I've been working on an assignment for four weeks straight. I've been handing in my deliverables, but have had to repeat the exercise again and again because my deliverables were not hitting the mark.

Turns out, it's because I haven't been asking the question accurately. Not that my question was wrong, but it wasn't sufficiently clear to deliver the responses that I needed.

This week marks attempt #4.

I've brainstormed and tested different ways, and I think I finally have it.

Hopefully I'll finally nail it.
